Brahma Vihara Retreat

My friend Shannon Stein (author of The Fire Kasina Book ) has a Brahma Vihara retreat coming up in April. The Brahma Viharas are one of those things I would love to learn more about and figure out how to add to my practice. Unfortunately my retreat / vacation time this year is already overbooked so I won’t be able to go to this. But I thought I’d share the information in case anyone else is interested.

Apr 18th, 3:00 pm to Apr 25th, 11:00 am
The Brahma Viharas, or four immeasurables, are known in English as lovingkindness, compassion, empathetic joy, and equanimity. These practices of unselfish, boundless love open the heart and cultivate a stable, concentrated mind that is ripe for the teachings of liberation.
