Hi Kenneth,
You mentioned "[i:28snhhyt]I am building a mobile app. ...... It's all about bringing attention to the current experience and proving it with a feedback loop, e.g., Mahasi noting. It turns out that it's possible to note interactively with another human or even with a machine, aka a smartphone[/i:28snhhyt]."
I have some suggestion for a Noting Aloud mobile app. Based on the instruction to note aloud once every 1-2 sec, I find that I would stop noting for a few reasons. I have either drifted off to daydream, to dullness, or I have dozed off.
The app could include 2 features:
a. To detect that noting has stopped for a period of time. And then ring a bell to alert the meditator.
b. To record the entire noting session (in MP3) for later review.
This means that the app would ring a bell when no noting voice is detected for an interval of time. The duration of the interval should be configurable. User should also be able to adjust the sound volume which is to be considered as the noting voice.
Regards

Thats a god idea, I agree. I think this 'update' would be a great idea.
I'm sure you're aware that the app is out now. Have you used it yet?
