A couple things: when one is logged out, the non-private discussions listed do not show the correct number of replies or who replied most recently. This is not a big deal, but sort of odd. For example, a public thread might have 4 replies, last reply by Shargrol, but if I'm not logged in, the same thread is displayed (in the "most recent" view) saying it has 1 reply by Kate (just to make up an example). Why?
The other thing is, unlike, say, Facebook or Google (sorry for the comparison), I can't coordinate login on multiple devices on this forum. So if I go happen to login and check the conversations from my mobile phone, then it logs me out on my laptop. Later I get home and log in to read via my laptop, and it logs me out on my phone. Again, not a huge deal, but is there an option to coordinate logins from multiple devices? I'd rather my status either be logged in or not, no matter which device I happen to use, but that might not be technically possible.
Cheers.

Hi Ona,
Regarding the non-private replies, that is very curious. I had not noticed that but concur. I would need to dig into it more to see why that is, but that is clearly a bug in the forum software. As to the sessions, yes, I bump into that as well. What is more frustrating to me is not that I get logged out, but that my "unread" messages gets reset and I end up seeing as new stuff I have already read. That unfortunately has to do with the way Joomla (the core software on which AN is based) tracks sessions, and it is a combination of session cookies stored on the device and a session state value stored in the database. AFAIK, this is not conducive to session sharing. There might be some way around it, but by default TITWII.

Thanks for explaining! It's not a huge thing for me.
I googled TITWII, but only got some rude results that don't seem relevant. Then it contextually seemed likely to mean "That is the way it is." DId I guess right?
Did you make that one up? (DYMTOU).
