unsubscribe topic? was created by Ona Kiser
I accidently subscribed to a thread (I was using my mobile and hit some checkbox without realizing until I'd hit submit, and then it was too late). I can't find the checkbox to unsubscribe. Ideas?

It's the same box/link, Ona. It will change to say "unsubscribe" if you are subscribed. If you are unsubscribed it will say "subscribed" as it most often does.

No! It's not there I swear. In this thread (which I'm not subscribed to) the option is right down there above the submit button. But on the other thread I am subscribed to, I can't see it. I'll test it here to make sure I'm not crazy.

That's weird - that box appears on every forum topic for me, at the bottom of the page, in the "footer."

I didn't subscribe via the blue footer buttons. I subscribed via a little checkbox that appears when you choose to reply to a thread for the first time, near the Submit button (which is why I hit it accidentally). So I was looking for that little checkbox and overlooked the big blue footer button.
