RSS feeds including comments was created by Lost and Found
Hey there,
I do a lot with rss feeds, since I mostly use my mobile phone.
In some rss feeds from message boards you'll only see the first post of a new thread, in others not only the first post but all reactions within a thread.
I have the feed for recent posts from Awakenetwork, but unfortunately it'll show only the first post.
Is this something that can be changed or do I just have to learn to live with it and read threads on the computer?
Thanks for reading.

A few quick questions -- are the e-mails you receive with only one message coming from older topics? Are you subscribed to all topics or just selected and/or active topics?
Thx

Hi, I'm using the feed for recent posts. This one to be precise:
Recent posts
To be clear; these aren't emails send to my email adress, but rss items.
The oldest item is "Insight isn't even half the battle".
I'm not sure the Awakenetwork has more feeds? I looked for them, but that might have been in the wrong places

I have modified the feed style to include posts, not just topics. I don't personally use RSS, but had a look at how it presents in Feedly. Let me know if that works for you (or if anyone else is relying on this, have I now broken it for you). But I am curious how you get past the authentication, as most of what happens on AN is private. I did not see a way to log into AN from an RSS reader, and consequently the feed will only show public topics.

It works!!! This is so great!
I know many people don't use them, but they are really convenient; I don't use the computer that much anymore, but now I can check posts all day long if I want to.
As for private posts: I have an Android phone and use the app FeedR, which you can find in the google play store (I was trying to add the link, but the new play store lay out doesn't agree with my browser). In FeedR, I can enter my login info.
Thank you very much, I've been here only a couple of days, but already I'm astounded as to the helpful and friendly atmosphere!

Hmmm, sadly I haven't received rss posts from Awakenetwork in a couple of days and when I check this site, there have been posts.
So, I tried to check out the rss feeds through the webbrowser on my computer and it only shows old posts from me. No matter whether I check the 'recent posts' feeds or the 'all topics' feed, it shows the same old posts that I send. Has something changed in the rss link?

I think it has to do with security, and the feed is being rebuilt periodically using "public" access rights, even though your RSS reader may be sending your login credentials. I will turn off the RSS feed caching, and let me know if that causes the feed to be rebuilt using your credentials. My feed tester does not allow a login to be passed along.
