I have noticed how, when reading this website on my iPad, I am unable to use the touch screen to expand the display in order to make the text larger. Nor do I find any mechanism on the site itself to enlarge the font. Is there a way you could make this site more user friendly for people with failing eyesight? I don't have as much of a problem on an actual computer. I don't know how many people read this forum on a tablet, but if nothing else I 'd be curious to know why this site doesn't budge for me. Thanks!

Doesn't your iPad support the "spread to expand/pinch to condense" gestures? Or is that for newer ones only?

Yeah, I'm always trying to expand it and nothing happens with this site, and then I think, oh, that's right. So--I don't understand how these things are done, but there are people around here who do, thank the Universe!

Pinching and expanding/contracting works on this site using the touchpad of my MacBook Pro, however. I assumed it was the same multitouch technology as is on the iPad but I guess not.

I have fixed the CSS to enable zooming on mobile devices. Please confirm that it works the way you expect, on the device of your choice.
Additionally, I have suppressed the chat function on the iPad, because I found it getting in the way. So now it is only visible on the desktop.
Finally, I am still a bit annoyed with the layout on the iPad, with respect to the right sidebar. I am trying to get it to be "responsive" in the same way as on the iPhone, and show up below the content. But that will be for another day.
