The Logo Poll

To help guide the admins in look-and-feel decisions, can you please weigh in on what (if anything) the site logo should look like? Add comments to the topic if you want to elaborate.

Huh? The "same size" was just a blip for a minute or two while I messed with the CSS a bit. Are you still seeing it, because the "discussing..." bit is definitely smaller but now on the same line as the main title.

Also, because you and Colin stated a preference, I have done a simple tweak to change the colour of "awake". The colours won't be perfect, but they are free with my template so I just picked something. I agree with this, BTW, because remember when we were picking the name there was a brief discussion about "awaken" vs. "awake", and whether the "n" should serve double-duty so that it was pronounced "awaken-network".

Personally, I like this.

I don't think we want to entertain changing the name of the site. We have been using "awake", and if any of us were to, say, be interviewed by Vince for our enlightenment prowess and were constantly saying "awaken-network", then nobody would get the URL right. Based on the feedback and poll thus far, I think we are close and merely need to tweak the colour of the "discussing..." to make it more readable. Or, I might just nudge it up in size a bit.

Don't take this the wrong way but we just spent a few hundred bucks securing the .com version of our site name so no, we're not changing the name

The top one was what we had for the last few days, with a slightly lighter weight. The bottom one is a slightly more "fun" font (called "Bubblegum"), which I liked until Ona jinxed it with her "Comic Sans" comment.
