A friend of mine posted this today, and I thought he really tied together some interesting bits and pieces. It's about silence and listening. I thought particularly interesting how he draws the link between listening (to someone) and loving (someone).
My husband ran with the subject and is going to use "silence" as a theme in his dharma talk tomorrow. And he came across a Burmese saying: You have two ears and one mouth, so you should listen twice as much as you talk.
