I was taking a look at someone Limbic recommended on Jackson's thread, and noticed in the comments that the commenter preferred this guys take on Kundalini and Shaktipat…
I have to say that I agree with that assessment.

Thanks for posting this Kate. It was a very interesting talk. I like how mapping in this tradition has a good characterization of the personal experience of energy and assimilation/integration (in contrast perhaps about maps that focus on domains of insights, although that's in there too.)

Have you watched/do you recommend viewing? Even though I'm gen-x/y not a millennial, hour long youtube clips intimidate me

Well, I love a good story-- I was completely absorbed. It's not every day you hear a Uzbek Transcendental Meditator tell his tale… It's The Autobiography of an Uzbek Yogi, in 2 parts, with gripping kundalini details. You can always check the first few minutes…

Sounds like my idea of fun family viewing! Tried to interest one of my daughters (the one I catch reading spiritual books), but no luck. Netflix.

I should specify that I've treated it as an audio, and listened to most of it rather than watched, as I continued my packing chores. Watching a couple of people sitting in chairs really doesn't add much.

Oh awesome, that's me
thanks! I am mega busy at the moment and haven't had a chance to check out much of what's been happening here at AN for the last few weeks, but I definitely want to check this out... I think at one point I started listening to one of his BATGAP interviews but I'm not sure I got through the whole thing. And maybe heard him in a group BATGAP discussion where he seemed very insistent on his path's 'spiritual take' being the absolute material truth - but that may be a complete misremember on my part... anyway his site looks fascinating. Cheers!
