Sayadaw U Tejaniya has a new channel on YouTube:

He is a very relaxed and cheerful teacher with an emphasis on ease and recognizing awareness in each moment rather than using excessive effort and concentration.

Cool! Look forward to checking this out. The retreat centre I did longer retreats at in Burma was just across the road from Shwe Oo Min Centre, Sayadaw U Tejaniya's place, and I've always heard very good things about it - Shwe Oo Min himself (Sayadaw U Tejaniya's teacher, he died some years ago) was a student of Mahasi's but his style is apparently more gentle, and based on checking the quality of your observing mind rather than just noting everything in it. Sayadaw U Tejaniya's doing a ten-day retreat in Australia in November which I'm booked in for but I'll have to see how work's going to know whether I can actually make it or not cos it's right at the end of semester... thanks Tina!
