How long will it take to wake up?

I put that on my first computer as a screensaver! Emily was my first favorite poet since i found her as a high-school student.

She's been my favourite for a while now and I think there's a lot of dharma in her art as well... I read a bio of her while I was staying at the monastery over December-January, and I've been slowly working my way through a complete edition of her poems. <3 <3 <3

As a smart-ass teenager begging off church attendance, I quoted:

"Some keep the Sabbath
going to church;
I keep it staying home--
with a Bobolink for a chorister
and an orchard for a dome..."

I haven't changed my mind in the 50 years since...
