Hello all,
my first post here - so hello!
I've been practicing Tummo for a wee while, and I was wondering if there are any more practicioners?
I did a 4 day Tummo retreat with Tulku Lobsang that was quite a lot of fun, althought the techniques were pretty much the same as the famous Tummo post in KFD forum.
Anyway, I'm happy to chat with whoever likes good ol' tummo!
EDIT: [just realised the old DhR was migrated, so hello back!

I only did it that one time I was freezing at the office and you coached me on how to do the breath holding. I remember being surprised that you pass the point where you think you have to breath, and then you get really warm. I think I stayed warm for an hour. But my qi gong teacher scolded me for doing it.
I do qi gong regularly - just started a couple months ago. I love it. It's improved my posture, gotten rid of weird physical stuff (like an intermittent swelling in my feet I had for ages), and just feels mostly good. Except when it brings up "blockages" in which case it feels rather unpleasant. But interesting, nonetheless.

I don't have any experience with tummo, unfortunately. I hear good things about it, but it also comes with a lot of warnings!
I'm glad you're enjoying it. Feel free to share whatever experiences you think would be interesting or beneficial for the group to hear.

I practiced Tummo for a few weeks in November/December 2011. This was my HGA's suggestion so I did it for a bit until he wanted me to do something else. It was an interesting practice. Felt quite good after it, but doing it could be a bit torturous at times.
Recently, my HGA has asked me to start Tummo practice again. So I will be doing that soon.
Andy, if you have any Tummo tips, I'd be happy and grateful to hear them. I already have the Tummo pdf you sent me a while back, which I am going to look over again before starting my practice.

Jackson, all I can say is that its helping me awaken my kundalini slowly - I seem to have suuuper low sentivity to these things, and tummo seems to be getting me there (even if very slowly).
John, I haven't really found anything beyond what we already know. Even in the retreat, all we did was to learn a few extra exercises around the main exercise that you know (the three bandhas and breath retention)!

You do hold the world record for nearly imperceptible kundalini activity, Andy!
What I am curious to see is whether now it's starting to wake up a bit it gets some momentum going and your head blows up (teasing you!!) or continues to be on the gentle, quiet side.

Oh dear, I never got a message saying I had another answer so I've just checked back, sorry Tom!
Answering the two questions:
It still is in the gentle quite side, just less gentle and less quiet. In fact, I'm starting to believe I'm somewhat beyond what I thought. Every now and then I get moments of feeling general unconditioned love in the middle of the underground in my way to school, I'm way more patient and detached from mind stuff,... also my appreciation for the things that make me feel stuff has increased; I'm a musician, and sometimes music feels like the voice of God and it feels like it is going to make my chest explode. All this sounds more fancy than it is tho...
Also sometimes I'll get into a nice, yet subtle, current of mild bliss going thru my body (this while practicing, and usually during the meditation I do after pranayama).
All this I attribute to energy practice (tummo), but since I also do some meditation and magick, who knows what it is...
As for specific techniques... if you're interested in the Tummo thing I'll be happy to chat with you, as it is plenty to write about. Generally, tho, I now prefer the AYP approach than Tummo. In AYP you include the same technique we do in Tummo at some point.
Cheers,
Andy
