From talking to people I gather my specific experiences of pretty much everything are a bit eccentric
But, yeah. It just occurred to me that this sense of re-wiring may well not be what it seems. For instance, it could be going on all the time and just surface in consciousness around these shifts without any causal relation. But then again I've been astounding myself lately at how unnecessary "knowing" and "understanding" are for wisdom/clarity to be present. Things happen. The less "I" try to interfere or manipulate experience, the more intelligence can shine through.

As Chris Marti likes to say "Ding ding ding ding ding!"

I agreed with the rewiring simply because that was exactly how I wrote about it in my journal. Things like "I feel like I'm being renovated" or "I feel like my brain is being rewired" exactly described the sensations and perceptions the energy movements sometimes produced.

Energy blockage in the throat chakra ??? Beats me. But the location of this thing was uncanny.

I have seen charts tying the 7 chakras to the major nerve plexi and/or neurotransmitter-producing glands; that, along with a very few personal experiences, convinces me that these are things that were more carefully studied in earlier times. And the only 'fault' with the research was that it involved a different vocabulary and view of what a human being is, physiologically. So we are handicapped in knowing where and how to look.
What we have left, in the Western knowledge tradition-- is the quasi-poetry of common speech: 'lump in the throat', 'heartbreak', 'pissed off', 'blood ran cold', etc.

Well said Kate.
Ian lent me a book on Taoist meditation, which I believe was recommended to him by our very own Kate. The author speaks about the experience of a "legs orgasm," and that it's an important sign that one is meditating properly - at least up to a certain stage or level of skill.
Personally, I've experienced what I would consider that kind of pleasurable sensation in the feet and legs. But most of the energetic release experiences I encounter emanate more from above the neck, and sometimes throughout the whole body. I can't say I've ever experienced a meditation-induced orgasm located primarily in one foot. I imagine it would be pretty amusing, though!

This is disappointing news, Ona. I'm going to have to meet with Chris to formally discuss whether you should remain a member of our forum. For, the bylaws clearly state that each member must accurately report an experience of a legs orgasm, or face the possility of immediate expulsion and public ridicule.
[Kidding, of course.]
Fine, I'll go start my own forum and you can't come over and play in my treehouse nya nya!
